Wheeeeeeeeeeee!
This image that I took the other day turned out pretty
"sexy"
to me for
some reason!
I've not been in a very playful mood lately.
So, upon my visit to the playground,
well,
I had some
sexy
static - filled
fun!
~~~~~~~~
I hope each of you have a moment today
where your hair stands straight up
and you get to
ZAP
someone!
The Music Is Gone.......
I woke up this morning and my first thought was of you.
But we're done.
It is hard enough to end a loving relationship although that's not what we had.
Yes, once we shared an orchestra of sweetness.
But of late, we seethed of anger and shame.
I've cut loose my best friend.
Yet best friends do not hurt each other with words nor punches.
So I guess I've only lost a memory of music that we had.
I wish for you to dance in the rain again,
with some other fool.
My only wish is that I have learned the difference
between forgiveness and blame.
An Introduction.....
May I request a moment of your time so that I can introduce to you,
my new
favorite person
Yvonne Kriddle
I believe her to be best friends with ONE of my favorite,
alter egos!
Obsessions.....
with four young mothers and their small children.
"You all have obsessions," he observed.
To the first mother he said, "Mary, you are obsessed with eating.
You've even named your daughter Candy."
He turned to the second mom, "Ann, your obsession is with money.
Again, it manifests itself in your child's name, Penny."
He turned to the third mom, "Joyce, your obsession is alcohol.
This too shows itself in your child's name, Brandy."
At this point, the fourth mother, Kathy, quietly got up,
took her little boy by the hand and whispered,
"Come on, Dick, we're leaving.
Your brothers Peter and Willy are waiting for us."
Southern Home Security System.....
1. Go to a second-hand store and buy a pair of men's work boots, used, size 14-16. $2.00
2. Place them on your front porch, along with a copy of Guns & Ammo Magazine or NRA. Magazine - $3.00
3. Put a few giant dog dishes next to the boots and magazine.
4. Leave a note on your door that reads:
Hey Bubba, Big Jim, Duke and Slim:
I went for more shotgun shells and to pick my check up from the slaughterhouse. I should be back in an hour. Don't mess with the Pit Bulls--don't know what got into them, but they attacked the mailman this morning and messed him up real bad. I don't think Killer took part in it but it was hard to tell from all the blood. Anyway, I locked all four of 'em in the house. Better wait out here on the porch.
Flash Friday - 55...
Oh, the sound of pitter - pat.
Some paths lead me forward
And some leave me confused.
Destinations that have brought me joy
and journeys that left me feeling used.
I choose these streets and avenues
Whether skipping and whistling
or singing the blues.
This reminds me,
I need some new shoes!
Come On Booshka......PLAY!
...OK...
"Truce"
My dearest daughter,
I will entice you in any way that I can to
beg of you,
to continue playing the piano.
The lack of wondrous tunes as you practice your gift leave this home without a song.
So,
If you read this, please continue to emulate David Cook's brilliance!
You do it with such ease darling.
I miss your music and will stop at nothing to tempt you!
I love you and the joy of sound you bring into our home.
Sober....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I don't want to be the girl who laughs the loudest.
Or the girl who never wants to be alone.
I don't want to be that girl at 4 o'clock in the morning.
'Cause 'm the only one you know in the world that won't be at home.
Ahhhhhh, the sun is blinding.
I.....I stayed out all night, again.
Ohhhh, I'm finding....
That's not the way I want my story to end.
I'm safe up high, nothing can touch me.
Why do I feel this party is over?
No pain inside me.
You're my protector.
But, how do I feel this good,
so bad?
I don't want to be the girl that has to fill the silence.
The quiet scares me 'cause it screams the truth.
Please don't tell me we had that conversation.
I won't remember, save your breath.
So what's the use?
Ahhhhhh, the night is calling
And it whispers to me softly...
"Come play."
But I am falling.
And if I let myself go,
then I am the only one to blame.
I am safe,
up high.
Nothing can touch me.
But, why do I feel this party's over?
No pain inside.
You're like perfection.
And how do I feel this good,
so low?
Coming down,
coming down,
coming down,
now.
Spinning round,
spinning round,
spinning round,
now.
I am looking for myself
SOBER!
When it's good, it's good, it's so good,
'til it goes bad.
Till you try to find the you that you once had.
I've heard myself cry,
"Never again!"
Broken down on naked knees,
just trying to find a bed.
I'm safe up high,
nothing can touch me
I can smell this party end.
No pain inside,
you're like perfection.
But how do I feel this good,
so bad?

Friday Flash Fiction 55 -
Ziggle zag,
Friggle frag!
What have you not already said?
I think redundant lives under a rock.
Oh, you beg to differ?
Well then I'll just keep feeling the vibration of your tongue.
Forgive me for my placid grace,
It's just that I remember this place.
Then it stops.
Abruptly.
Oh, but it's not done!

Liquid Illuzions
THE LENS OF A CAMERA SEEKS IN UNIONISES WITH THE THIRD EYE,
A SMALL WINDOW WITH WHICH THE EYE RELIES TO FRAME-UP
ALL YOUR IMPLIES,
WE FOCUS OUT ON PERSONAL REFLECTIONS FROM WITHIN
SO THEY WONT GO AWRY
THE FILM WITHIN A CAMERA ACTS LIKE THAT OF OUR SOUL,
IT USES THE ESSENCE OF LIGHT IN FRAGMENTS
WHICH PIECE TOGETHER AND EXPOSE THE WHOLE,
ONE DAY ALL THOSE FRAGMENTS WILL JOIN THROUGH ESSENCE
FOR THE CONSOLE,
ARTISTIC VISIONS ARE THE ESSENCE OF LIGHT
FOR ALL TO EXTOL,
WITHOUT PHOTOGRAPHS
MEMORIES OF OUR STARS WOULD COLLAPSE INTO BLACK HOLES,
IT'S TIME TO ATTACH A TELESCOPIC LENS
SO WE CAN SEE BEYOND THE DEPTH
TO WHERE IT UNFOLDS,
THE INNER BEAUTY OF A SOUL
WILL ALWAYS MANIFEST IT SELF THROUGH CREATIVITY,
LIQUID
IT'S YOUR PROCLIVITY OF IMAGERY
THAT CREATES THIS POETIC REACTIVITY,
YOU EXUBERANTLY ENHANCE OBJECTS
AND TEACH US THAT ALL "THINGS" HAVE A PERSONALITY,
YOUR PHOTOGRAPHS
RIPPLE THROUGH OUR SENSORY
ACTIVITY WHICH RIPPLES BACK RELATIVITY,
YOUR SENSITIVITY TOWARDS LIFE RADIATES
WHICH WILL CULTIVATE YOUR LONGEVITY,
SO LETS NOW EXPLORE YOUR INSIDE ANGLE
WHICH WILL ALWAYS KEEP US IN CAPTIVITY,
YOU'VE CAPTURED EMOTIONS,
SHADOWS AND COUCHES RESTING,
YOU'VE GIVEN US CLOVER'S, IVY AND LILY'S
WITHOUT CONTESTING,
YOU'VE BESTOWED TRACKS, MUD, AND PAINTINGS
WITHOUT ANYBODY REQUESTING,
YOU'VE CREATED MEMORIES OF NATURE,
CATTLE AND CORN FOR THE DIGESTING,
YOU'VE ENHANCED SURROUNDINGS AND BOUNDARIES
WITHOUT SUGGESTING,
YOU'VE TAKEN US TO PLACES WE WOULDN'T HAVE SEEN,
THAT'S THE BEST THING,
LETS DOCUMENT THE BEAUTY OF THIS WORLD
BEFORE IT ALL RETURNS TO THE SKY,
IT'S TIME TO JOURNEY THROUGH THE LENS OF THE PHOTOGRAPHER
WITH THE TIPS OF OUR EYE'S,
FOR IT’S THE PHOTOGRAPH THAT REMAINS
LONG AFTER GOODBYES,
YOU HAVE FROZEN PIECES OF TIME FROM YOUR MIND
FOR ALL 2 SEE,
LIKE THE MIRRORED LAKE
AND OUT OF ITS MIDDLE CAME A WHITE TREE
THAT FREES,
LIKE PINK BOLTS,
THE WINDOW BEHIND THE BRICK
OR THE STRING OF LEAVES IN THE TREE,
LIKE A MOSSY WOOD POST,
SNOWDEN'S BARN,
OR THE HUB CAPS THAT JUST BE,
LIKE THE PICTURES OF PEOPLE WHO HOLD SIMILAR EXPRESSIONS
OF THAT OF U AND ME,
LIKE THE DOG AND THE DEER SHOWING INTEREST TO EACH OTHER
BEFORE THE FLEE,
LIKE
"THE POND"
WHERE U DOCTORED-UP AND REMIXED THE PHOTO
AS WOULD AN EMCEE,
YOU PORTRAYED TO ME THAT CRACKS EXIST
TO LET THE LIGHT THROUGH,
THAT A VERTICAL WINDOW PANE WITH RAINDROPS
CAN PAINT PICTURES TOO,
THAT THE MORNING DEW BRUSHES RUST ON A HOOD THAT'S BLUE,
THAT A PILE OF JUNK IS BEAUTIFUL
AND EQUALLY ABSTRACT AS ME AND YOU,
THAT A LITTERED BOTTLE WAS TAKEN IN BY EARTH
TO SHOW US ITS NEW FOUND VIEW,
THAT A PHOTO ENTITLED
"BLUE"
LOOKS LIKE CRYSTALS THAT WILL RENEW,
THAT MISSISSIPPI BARES A TREE WITH A HEART,
WHO KNEW,
I COULD GO ON FOREVER WITH THESE WORDS
LIQUID,
BUT YOU AND I KNOW A PICTURE IS WORTH A MILLION OF THEM,
SO NO VELVET TEARS WHEN THIS POEM COMES TO AN END,
CONSIDER IT A GIFT
2 YOU
FOR EXPOSING LIFE'S GEMS...
~Mike Fable
Friday 55 - I'm Late!
It slipped my mind that my 55 should appear.
All wrapped up in this duck
feeding him bread and watching him swim,
I lost count of time and remembered I need wine.
I needed a brew to help the adults stew and dance by the fire.
