Flash Fiction Friday - #6

Drip.
Drop.
Flip.
Flop.
It's raining outside
and I can't sleep.

Toss.
Turn.
Stomach churns.
I feel like ants are crawling on me!

Jump up.
Lay down.
Since when did silence get so loud?

Uh, oh!
Way to go!
I didn't take my meds
before my pillow met my head!

Flip.
Flop.
A pill,

POP!

Flash Fiction Friday
Every Friday, I compose a short story of 55 words - no more, no less.
If you want to join in the fun and games and give it a try...
post your story and report to the boss

I hate when I cannot go to sleep and need to take my anti depressants to do so because I realize it too late to make any difference in the sleep I need and don't get.

The rain then becomes water torture.

the rhythm of this one is so marvelous, liquid. the rain the tossing, it all echoes it so well.

Very Rhythmic & very expressive! That is exactly how it is!

Hehehe it sounds somewhat similar to the Dr. Seuss books I've been reading to Sophia. Well, except for the meds part. ;-)

Great 55!
